DataKom shortlisted for ‘Growth Business of the Year’ at the South Wales Chamber of Commerce Welsh Business Awards 2017

DataKom has been shortlisted for the ‘Growth Business of the Year’ award at the South Wales Chamber of Commerce Welsh Business Awards 2017.

The Awards recognise businesses who play a fundamental role in driving the Welsh economy forward. They celebrate success, excellence in best practice, and the contribution Welsh businesses make to the wider community.

The event will be hosted by Gethin Jones, Welsh TV presenter, at the City Hall in Cardiff on Thursday 8th March 2018.

The ‘Growth Business of the Year’ category recognises businesses who can demonstrate an increase in sales, profit, products, and business expansion over the past year.

DataKom is set to celebrate its 11-year anniversary this year. Jay Ball, Managing Director, has transformed DataKom from a small start-up, at the young age of 21, to one which now has a yearly turnover of millions.

The company now offers the latest phone systems, mobiles, broadband, and engineering service to businesses across Wales. They have a portfolio of more than 2,000 clients, including Aston Martin and Specsavers.

It’s a business which is not only motivated and passionate about growing themselves, but also helping other Welsh businesses prosper.

Other finalists in the category include Bartholomew Hawkins, Net World Sports, Sharp Clinical Services, A & R Cleaning Specialists and CPR Call Blocker.
