DataKom create five extra new roles in the Bridgend office

After continued growth, DataKom has expanded the team, creating five new roles since March 2018.
DataKom has seen a large increase in KloudPBX projects after announcing plans to become 100% cloud-based last year.
New department
A lead generation team has been formed to further the development of DataKom and support business growth.
Lead Generation Manager, Cai Bowen will be managing this department, monitoring and identifying new opportunities. Cai has extensive knowledge of the high-level service DataKom provide and this will ensure there is an effective solution for all customers.
The team will also raise awareness regarding the ISDN switch off and the transition of phone systems to the cloud by 2025.
The team is expected to grow to four within the next six months with one position already filled.
Business Account Managers
Grant Hall and Antony Worsley have joined the sales team, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise with them.
Antony founded and managed ANYCommunications Ltd – a mobile technologies company specialising in workforce management solutions for SMEs across wales and the UK. The company based in Swansea delivered optimised mobile devices, applications and supporting services.
Grant worked with DataKom when it was founded in 2008 as part of the sales team. He has since worked as a Sales Manager for a global company providing high-quality service and support in forklift truck sales, repair, maintenance and hire.
The team advise customers on which telecom solution is best for their business and the rich-features available to improve daily operations. As well as maintaining a positive relationship with existing customers and ensure their phone systems are running effectively.
Trainee Cabling Engineer
The cabling team complete all first-fix cabling work on telephone system installs. Trainee Cabling Engineer, Daniel Traylor will work closely with the team – growing his skillset and knowledge. Daniel has a background in electrical engineering.
DataKom is focused on training new members to have high-levels of customer service at the forefront.
