Our favourite moments of the decade at DataKom

As 2019 comes to an end, we look back at some of the amazing achievements that we have accomplished over the past 10 years here at DataKom – all with the help of our fantastic team.
Below lists some of our best moments over the last decade, from 2010 – 2020:
2010 – DataKom became an approved supplier with Vale of Glamorgan, RCT & Other Local Authorities in South Wales.
2011 – DataKom expanded and purchased an office in Pyle, Bridgend.
2012 – We hit our 1000+ customer target!
2013 – We were awarded 22nd fastest growing company in Wales! We also outgrown our offices in Pyle, in just 2 years!
2014 – We were awarded 21st fastest growing company in Wales and moved to new 3300 sq. ft. Head Offices in Bocam Business Park, Pencoed.
2015 – We achieved £2M in business which grew us by 25%! We also opened a DataKom branch office in Aberystwyth, Mid Wales and grew to over 30 employees – averaging 25-30 system installs a month!
2016 – Our sales growth continued with a 33% growth as well as we launched the new DataKom website.
2017 – We launch our KloudPBX solution which has been extremely successful and a pivotal moment.
2018 – We became the largest iPECS Cloud Reseller in the UK.
2019 – DataKom was acquired by the Southern Communications Group and we merged with a local telecom company Pinnacle.
2020 – With the merge of DataKom and Pinnacle we’re now going into 2020 as the largest telecom company in Wales! – Huge growth planned!

It’s been an incredible journey since 2007 – this will be our third decade as a successful telecoms business and with the fact only 6% of businesses last longer than ten years, a very proud moment.
2019 was probably our most recognised year with the successful merge with Pinnacle, allowing us to really propel forward as a business.
The speed of which telecom technology changes is absolutely fantastic as we love to bring the latest tried & tested products to our customers to really give true innovation.
A huge thank you to our team & customers who without, we are nothing!
We look forward to another successful decade in 2020-2029 supporting more businesses.
